Friday Talk Time: Breastfeeding

Friday, March 25, 2011
So on Sunday I am going to see my very first flash mob!  I'm really excited because these are the things I only get to see on TV or YouTube.

I was invited by a friend to see one, but it's the Nurse-In. A flash mob for breast feeders!!!!
I support breastfeeding 100% but I don't know how I feel about seeing 100+ women flash the boob!

What do you think? Yay or nay?
p.s. I would really like to join a Michael Jackson flash mob, so please let me know where to sign up, I'm in!

What a weird day!

Thursday, March 24, 2011
So yesterday I found this out:

"Ring-a-ding-ding! You are a lineal descendent of T. H. Burgoyne (Thomas Henry Dalton), father of the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, and the Church of Light!!!!"

Am I lucky or what?

Check it out, let me know!

It was the busiest, most interesting e-mail conversation EVER!

Whatever happened to No TV Tuesday?

Tuesday, March 22, 2011
Oh yeah! Raising Hope!  Which is BY FAR the best thing I've EVER seen (or at least in a long time!)

So Tuesday's from here on out are now officially known as...
Tell The Truth Tuesday

Feel free to unleash the truth!

Here's mine:
I LOVE this blog and it never fails to make me laugh hysterically!
I suggest reading from #1!

Menu Monday. What's for dinner?

Monday, March 21, 2011
OK, here it is! Mostly. Must complete step 2, going to the store, to see this one to fruition!

Monday - Something with Chicken (vague, but it will be good)
Tuesday - Something with pasta (also vague, still sounds good)
Wednesday - Something from a crock-pot (Who knows?)
Thurdsay - Something vegetarian
Friday - ??
Saturday - Pizza? Chinese? Most likely delivery!

Wow! Impressive or what.  Look at me starting the week off all amazing like!

and...here comes the ADD
I love my vegetarian cookbook.

It's not fussy at all, and the ingredients aren't weird, or hard to come by, or difficult.
You should get one! Or just read my blog and steal the recipes from me!  Is that illegal?

That's all.

Lazy ladies!

Sunday, March 20, 2011
I am very seriously considering switching my CSA to a bigger one that offers a ton of add-ons just so I have to leave the house even less!

Is that wrong?

Why me? A camping fiasco.

We went camping...way back in August.
and it was very pretty!
but I was sad
because I needed a root canal, right there!
and this...was the only thing I could do to make it stop hurting
and this too, I guess ( but it didn't really work!)
and we had no cell service so I had to beg for Ambesol via Facebook on my kindle
(please see future post, how a kindle saved my life!)

So I was a little bit miserable!
But we still had fun!
and SHE had more fun!
and I became a FISH KILLER!

THE END!

It's official!

Now that I only have one blog...Updates! Oh the updates!

It's a party! A basket party!

Friday, March 4, 2011
OK, so yes, Scentsy is a party planning company!
Much like other sales parties you have been to, where there is a sales person there, telling you about all about their products and why you NEED them!

Or is it???

Scentsy offers something very special called a basket party.

What happens is this....

You want FREE stuff, right? (of course you do, who doesn't!)

Step one - Tell me you want FREE stuff!

Step two - I will hand deliver, or ship directly to you, a party in a box. This includes samples and testers!

Step three - You show these amazing products to your friends, acquaintances, co-workers, EVERYONE!

Step four - They fill out an order form, or order directly on the website for your party!

Step five - After two weeks, or so, you return the items and order forms. (Shipping on me!)

Step six - You choose your half priced items (up to 5), and free items (up to 15% of your party total)

Step seven - You receive all of your ordered items, including you FREE goodies!

Step eight - There is not another step! It's that easy!

Interested??? Of course you are!

So go ahead and get started with step one!

It's affordable! Price comparison

As an official ex-candle junkie, I was spending over $100.00 a year on Yankee Candles. At $25.00 a piece, and buying on average of one new Large Jar a quarter.
Let's compare...Shall we!?

4 Large Jar Candles - $100.00
One time purchase - Scentsy Full Size Warmer - $30.00
4 Scensty Bars, One per Quarter. These last approx 60-80 hours - $20.00.
Total - $50.00 - THAT'S HALF PRICE!

And that's full price, not taking advantage of any of the promotions that Scentsy offers!
Such as the Full Size System, which is only $40.00 and contains one Full Size Warmer and 3 Scentsy Bars.

That's almost a full year in comparison, for less than half the cost.
Plus the added bonus, that you can choose the warmer that would best suit your decor. Full Size, Mid Size or Plug In!

I don't know about you, but one of my favorite scents is grapefruit, and the candle version of this is PINK!  Nothing in my house is pink, it makes me CRAZY!  But, I love the smell.
NOW...I have a lovely red warmer that matches my kitchen and I get the smells I love

Its a win, win!
